- Fusion CT Navigation System: Sinus surgery requires utmost precision because of the natural location of sinuses within our head. The most advanced Fusion CT Navigation System-- a type of GPS system-- is available at our center.
- Nasal Surgery without Packing or Stents: Usually, the most uncomfortable aspect of any nasal surgery, whether it is simple septoplasty, turbinectomy, rhinoplasty or sinus surgery, is having to endure the nasal packing or stents that many surgeons employ. Packing and stents prevent breathing through the nose, removal can be very painful. At Park Avenue Sinus & Allergy Center, Dr. Ahn employs surgical techniques that do not require packing whenever possible.
- Micro-Debrider with Built-in Cautery: Micro-debrider is a suction-debriding system that allows the surgeon to clean the sinus and also reduce the size of the turbinate in the least traumatic fashion. With the built-in cautery, turbinate tissue is cauterized internally to minimize post-operative crusting and quicken recovery.
